Saving the world, one honey bee at a time
Central Ohio Beekeepers Association
Their “Jr Beekeeping “ display shows how youth can become exceptional beekeepers.
Talk to them about beekeeping classes offered and the Youth Scholarships available.
Scholarship recipients are often on hand to talk about their experiences with their bees.
This is where the “Hive Inspection takes place – just what does a “bee inspector” do?
Always a beautiful booth is their Photo Contest Booth
The contest is open to all and has no entry fee. Come see the great photos, talk with beekeepers about what the different photos depict. Find out how you can be a part of the exhibit next year.
Be sure to vote for your favorite photo in the “People’s Choice Award”.

Fairfield County Beekeepers Association
The Fairfield County Beekeepers Association is now in its second year, offering Bee School for new beekeepers, a working bee yard, mentors, monthly meetings with speakers, community outreach to promote information and interest in the importance of bees and an opportunity to share and learn with other beekeepers. At the Honeyfest, will have beekeepers on hand to talk with patrons and a display booth with hands on materials to demonstrate the life of the honeybee, its important role as a pollinator and the job of a beekeeper. We will offer an opportunity to taste a number of varietal honeys. After the enthusiastic response last year, we plan to have fresh honeycomb available for folks to taste, “just like Grandpa used to do it!” There will also be coloring, puzzle pages and a small craft for children.
Ohio State Beekeepers Association
OSBA is the state organization and is open to all beekeepers throughout the state. OSBA tackles projects and issues that would be difficult for a local organization to accomplish. Stop at our booth and browse the educational displays and see how your membership can support sustainable beekeeping by providing education, training, resources, and outreach to the public, local beekeepers, and their beekeeping associations.
